Description
This marbled chocolate cheesecake combines rich dark, milk, and white chocolates for a decadent dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate cookies
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz dark chocolate, melted
- 8 oz milk chocolate, melted
- 8 oz white chocolate, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for about 10 minutes.
- Melt dark, milk, and white chocolates separately using a double boiler or microwave; let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and mix until fluffy. Incorporate sour cream and vanilla.
- Add eggs one at a time on low speed to avoid overmixing. Divide batter into three bowls and fold in each type of melted chocolate separately.
- Pour the batters alternately onto the cooled crust for a marbled effect. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about one hour until slightly jiggly.
- Turn off oven and leave cheesecake inside for an additional hour before cooling completely at room temperature.
- Refrigerate overnight before serving.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, make sure all ingredients are at room temperature before mixing.
- Refrigerating overnight helps enhance the flavors.
