Description

A delicious grilled cheese sandwich with a mix of cheeses and buttery bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 2 slices white cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together butter and Parmesan cheese.
  2. Spread one side of each slice of bread generously with the butter mixture.
  3. Layer mozzarella and cheddar cheese slices on the non-buttered side of the bread.
  4. Heat a large skillet to low-medium/low.
  5. Add sandwiches and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown. Make sure you keep the heat low to medium so the cheese has a chance to melt without burning the bread.
  6. Remove grilled cheese from the skillet, cut in half, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add garlic powder to the butter mixture.
  • Feel free to use different types of cheese based on your preference.
