Description
This delicious creamy garlic parmesan spaghetti is infused with rich flavors of caramelized onions and a hint of chili crisp.
Ingredients

- 1 Large White Onion, Thinly Sliced
- 4 Cloves Fresh Garlic, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Crisp Oil
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- ½ Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 8 Ounces Cooked Spaghetti
Instructions
- In a large skillet heat butter and oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook on medium low stirring occasionally until deep and caramelized. If they start to stick to the pan before finished cooking add a splash of water.
- Cook the pasta according to the package. Drain when finished, reserve ¼ cup pasta water for later if needed.
- Once fully caramelized add the garlic, seasonings, chili crisp and soy sauce. Cook for 1-2 more minutes until garlic is fragrant and softened.
- Stir in the cream and return to simmer until slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat and add cheese in pasta to coat, adding pasta water to thin if needed.
- Top with more chili crisp if desired.
Notes
- This recipe can be adjusted by adding more or less chili crisp based on your preferred spice level.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
