Description
Delicious and healthy protein bites made with oat flour and almond butter.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (90g) oat flour (ground oats)
- 1/2 cup (45g) vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 cup (125g) creamy almond butter
- 1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tbsp almond milk (if needed)
- 2 tbsp melted white chocolate (optional drizzle)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the oat flour, vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Add the almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
- Mix thoroughly until a cohesive dough forms. If the dough appears too dry, add almond milk one teaspoon at a time until it’s pliable and easy to handle.
- Roll the dough into small, bite-sized balls, approximately 12 pieces.
- Place the rolled bites on a piece of parchment paper. If desired, drizzle with melted white chocolate.
- Refrigerate the protein bites for 20 minutes to allow them to set before serving.
Notes
- This recipe yields approximately 12 protein bites.
- For a vegan option, ensure that the protein powder used is plant-based.
