Description

A delicious dessert featuring layers of banana and caramel on a biscuit crust, topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups digestive biscuits, crushed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix crushed digestive biscuits with melted butter until combined. Press into a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
  4. In a saucepan over low heat, cook sweetened condensed milk for 30-40 minutes while stirring until thickened and golden brown.
  5. Layer sliced bananas evenly over the cooled crust, then pour the caramel on top. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  6. Whip heavy cream to soft peaks and spread over the chilled pie. Garnish with chocolate shavings if desired.
